Sometimes new is not all ways best. Many devices can be refurbished and still have a number of years left in them. Refurbishing is not only normally cheaper, but better for the environment. In the first quarter of 2022, almost 120,000 metric tons of household waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) was collected in the United Kingdom.
